On a January rainy day we've arrived at this magical estate, with beautiful olive and orange trees spanning all over the place. The reception hall and breakfast room are outstanding with their historic tail, inner welcoming garden and small paved paths leading to the mansion rooms. Our room was a superb one, with a nice balcony, very well equipped with all facilities and any small detail you can think of. It is as if someone has carefully planned and designed it to become the warm, inviting delightful place it is. In the morning, Francesca cooked us a delicious breakfast with a great variety. And Peter the owner was a gracious host, very helpful, spent time telling us about the place as well as giving us navigation instructions since it was snowing on our way.
We are definitely coming back here 😊

Fantastic ancient building located in the hills and surrounded by olive trees. Exterior is well maintained and clean. Large swimming pool with ample space around it. Breakfast buffet is included and is good. Standard coffee is horrific so make sure to order your cappucho with the friendly staff at no additional cost.
So why the 3 stars? 3 attention points
- On the sea facing side there is a huge electricity facility which can’t be ignored. So if you book make sure you have a view on the country side. I’m very surprised this is not mentioned in any review.
- Only part of the rooms is redecorated. We had an ‘old’ room with a view on the factory
- We had moments when there was no water, lights were switching on and off, and there was no wifi in the main bedroom.

It is beautifully renovated, preserving the original atmosphere, yet giving it a modern and very comfortable touch. A lot of attention was given to every detail, in the room, the halls and the gardens. It is very well located in between the mountains and the sea, close to the historic town of Rossano. The views are breathtaking. Breakfast is rich and delicious. Dont skip the freshly baked plum jam pie and make sure to take your breakfast on the balcony and enjoy the view. We also want to thank the owners and staff for their generosity, very kind service and good tips for traveling around.
Historical landmark, the villa was built in the 16th century. It is perfectly maintained and accommodation for guests is of the highest standards, in particular for the region of Calabria, that is well known for the hospitality of its inhabitants but much less for the receptivity of its structures, which are often sub-standard. I have already been there twice, and I strongly suggest this place if you are traveling in the area

The food is spectacular and the venue is marvelous
Friendly service and excellent accommodations. Large and clean room from which we can easily see very beautiful landscapes. It is possible to walk by the olive trees located nearby as well as pick up tasty oranges from the trees in the garden. Breakfast is good (but unfortunately it has neither many salty nor diet options). It is a little bit far from the city centre (about 4km) but still convenient (it is reachable by foot).
Beautiful manor house. Very friendly owner. Nothing was too much trouble. Excellent service.
